Herzl saw in his vision the people of Israel, with all its communities, gathering and returning to their land. Herzl's dream did come true: the people of Israel realized the vision and immigrated to their land. In the story of this return, the immigration is counted in waves. The first one counted began in 1881, and after that the count continues and immigrates. The immigrations from the Mediterranean countries, North Africa and the Balkans, which began even before 1881 and continued continuously for many years, are not part of this count. The exhibition tells the story of these immigrations, and unfolds their part in the historical story of the return to the land, the development of settlement and the establishment of the state. Each poster tells the story of one immigration in three parts: Signs of Redemption - initial conditions for immigration, the journey - setting off, settling and building - the settlement in the land.
