Educational Excellence and Local Leadership in the Periphery

The social gaps that are evident between the center and the periphery are reflected in the lack of equal educational opportunities and the underutilization of the abilities and talents of the pupils in the periphery. 

Educational excellence is the key driver of social mobility. Since there is a clear correlation between motivation, academic achievements, and success with the positive affirmation of the pupils’ sense of identity, self-esteem, and belonging, Kol Israel Haverim works to promote educational excellence in the periphery while strengthening local identity and leadership.

A Unifying Israeli Judaism and the Sephardic Tradition Jewry

Religious extremism, the exclusion of moderate traditional communities, as well as the alienation from Jewish tradition, all play a role in damaging social cohesion and Israel's connection with Diaspora Jewry. 

Based on the responsibility for Clal Israel and the safeguarding of Israel as a Jewish and democratic State, Kol Israel Haverim strengthens Jewish-Israeli identity and leadership, fostering connections with the Sephardic Jewish traditions, and therefore allowing us to preserve the relationship with French Jewry. Strengthens a cohesive Jewish-Israeli identity and leadership, creates connections to the tradition of Spanish Jewry, and preserves the special connection to French Jewry.
