Optimal educational absorption of immigrant students from France
The Allé program assists schools in absorbing immigrants from France, provides academic and emotional support to students immigrating from France, and encourages educational excellence as part of creating conditions for optimal absorption. The program helps Israeli elementary and secondary schools adapt themselves, emotionally and educationally, to optimally absorb students immigrating from France.
Coordinator of the 'Allé' program. Integrates with the school team, and develops solutions tailored to needs. The program introduces additional resources to the school, which translate into hours of psychological counseling and academic reinforcement, personal guidance for students who are dealing with difficulties, and an enrichment program on heritage, introduction to Israeli society, and tours around the country.
Allé Leaf Program – Outcome Indicators:
- Allé students improve their grade point averages on their diploma.
- Allé students report a greater sense of belonging to the school community.
- Parents of Allé students are more involved in their children's learning and in the school community.
