The social gaps that are evident between the center and the periphery are reflected in the lack of equal educational opportunities and the underutilization of the abilities and talents of the pupils in the periphery.<\/p>

Educational excellence is a key to social mobility. There is a strong connection between motivation, educational achievements and success \u2013 and positive foregrounding of the students' identities, self-esteem and sense of belonging.
