Breaking the Glass Ceiling Program

Gender empowerment of female students in the field of science, technology and mathematics studies

A gender empowerment program that increases the number of female students studying science and technology (STEM), who persist in their studies, and obtain a quality matriculation certificate, which enables continued studies in higher education institutions, career building, and self- and professional fulfillment.

From eighth to twelfth grade, students are exposed to the academic world and high-tech companies, meet mentors who serve as inspiring models, participate in gender and empowerment workshops, and receive support to strengthen their academic achievements, with an emphasis on mathematics. Graduates of the program graduate from high school with a high-quality matriculation certificate, and report an increased sense of competence and high motivation to develop a career in the STEM field. Many of the graduates serve in the military or national service in significant positions, and choose to pursue further academic studies.
