Main plan

Promoting equality of opportunity and values education by empowering and professionalizing home room teachers

The program builds educational communities as a high-quality and safe space that enables learning and sharing, creation and conceptualization. By building trust between members of the educational community, a framework for learning and sharing is created, which deals with the development of the role of education as a distinct profession; through the study of practice, everyday challenges are addressed while identifying outstanding practices and examining ways and means to promote equal opportunities and education for values.

In the urban arena, the program develops roundtables and urban educator communities, alongside school communities. By creating innovative projects led by educators, the entire municipal system is mobilized to promote equal opportunities and education in values.

The program was founded and operates by the Leon Foundation and in partnership with the Professional Development Division and the Elementary Education Division of the Ministry of Education and the Mofet Institute.
