מכון כרם לחינוך הומניסטי יהודי, מבית ‘כל ישראל חברים’, הפועל תחת הגג האקדמי של מכללת דוד ילין, מכשיר אקדמאים להוראה איכותית ברוח הומניסטית־יהודית.

המכון, שהוקם בשנת תשל”ד (1974), מכשיר מורים איכותיים, מקצוענים ורחבי דעת, הרואים במקצוע ההוראה שליחות. בוגרי כרם משמשים בתפקידים משמעותיים במערכת החינוך, ומפתחים קריירה רבת שנים בעולמות החינוך וההוראה.

The Kerem Institute certifies teachers in the fields of Jewish Studies, Humanities, Social Sciences, and the Arts. The learning sessions utilize a dialogic approach, with an emphasis on the centrality of the humanities and Judaism in strengthening Israel's public secular education system. The studies are held in small groups, offering personal guidance, and fostering a strong connection to the field. The institute guides its graduates to integrate into the field of education and accompanies them during their first years of teaching..

  • The teachers’ graduation projects clearly and effectively reflect Kerem's core ideologies namely: identity- based pedagogy, humanistic-Jewish education, a dialogic approach to learning, and interdisciplinary studies within the humanities fild.
  • Graduates generally integrate easily into the education system during their internship year and tend to remain into the following year.
  • The majority of graduates advance to leadership and management roles within the formal education system.

Each year, 50 new students begin their studies at Kerem, with one-third selected for a program that will grant them a scholarship.
